In 1977, she moved to the west of the Netherlands to combine an education as a professional ceramic painter at the famous Porceleyne Fles in Delft with a study at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. Both studies were a perfect combination to develop her talent.

In 1982, the artist returned to her beloved homeland and took the next step in her career. She started studio Atelier Zwierige Penseel, where she has been working on new exhibitions worldwide to this day. Her works have already been admired in Amsterdam, London, Paris and New York.
